some prayers passed the way of a good friend from college would be greatly appreciated. He was shot last week while turkey hunting and has spend several days in the hospital. he was released yesterday, but still has a long ways to go to. i wish i had more details but i wasnt trying to pry when his mom called me when i talk to him a week or so ill try to get the full story. thanks again.
 
talked to him today he got about 100 pellets in back neck shoulders, and head. he said about 10-15 are working there way out a day with a couple of the deeper ones may needing to be surgically removed but hes gonna be fine and were already making jokes about it.
 
WOW, he's very lucky, some Turkey loads are as lethal as buckshot on any critter at close ranges. It sounds like he was just barely far enough away to survive being shot by one. I hope he get's well soon, has no lasting injuries and doesn't quit hunting because of an accident. I would like to know how it happened though.

he wont ever quite hunting he loves the outdoors he works for the forest service. i wanted to ask the whole story but figured he was getting tired of telling it... but more than likely it was someone trespassing on his properties cause he fallows the laws to the t about trespassing and all that.
