I can probably drive the M1008 if necessary... Just let me know. Its stock hieght on 33's though no daniel or anything crazy.
 
next weekend is anyone coming from the elkin/77/421 area...may need a spare tire/rim brought to work day
 
just picked up my first decent offroad vehicle, got it from xjay off here on the forum. It has to be trailered, is that ok to bring to this? Not sure if theres gonna have to be required driving from parking lot to parking lot, where it would have to be street legal. Would love to come and help out.

Its cool to bring it, you would just have to trailer it to the trail head. :driver:

sorry Guys just got back in the states and hadnt been able to get on any internet to keep up with this! Anyways I will donate some money if there is still a need and plan on being there for sure! looks like i will be driving the dodge and not the toyota though.
 
I want to Thank you guys for all you do in URE. It is a bit far for me to drive up for a work day. When my group goes camping in April we will police the trails we ride for trash and litter as we usually do.

Alright, well I am officially driving the M1008, will have an empty bed aside from 2 shovels and a set of post hole diggers I guess. Anyone need anything hauled from Clemmons area to Uwharrie? Not gonna drag a trailer but anything that will fit in a long bed can be arranged.
 
Never been to a URE work day, but I'd like to help on Saturday. I don't have my truck running right now. Does anyone have an open seat that could meet me at the outpost? I'll be driving from Raleigh on Sat morning.
 
Black00XJ gave me $20 today to throw in the pile incase anyone backs out on there donations.
 
I can make this one but not going to have my off road vehicle with me so I need a ride on the trail. Hope for a good weather day out there as well.
 
The weather channel is now predicting 60% chance of rain and 61 degrees. How productive will we be in this kind of weather? Should we consider postponing it by a week?

The rain makes it sloppy, but we can still get the work done. The last time I went it was sleeting and the trails were already wet when we got on them. We got the bobcat stuck and there were some areas we couldn't get to because of traction issues. We're getting the bobcat on tracks this time so there shouldn't be nearly as many traction issues.
