Pressure washer oil?

Where can I get the oil that goes in the water pump on a pressure washer? Also, how often should I change it? Does the pump use the oil and I need to add some after use?

Northern Tool. Should be a sight glass. Dosen't use much. Don't over fill.

It's nothing but regular gear oil. I second Northern Tool.

I don't know what pump you have but a Comet pump requires Mobile 1 15w-50. and fill it half way up the sight glass.

Check what model PUMP your machine has on it then find out what the manufacturer recommends. Do not over fill it because it can blow out seals and burn up the pump with the quickness.

And some pumps don't need to be oiled. Some are self contained and aren't user-serviceable.
