price check( 2x2 .250 and 1/4" plating)

i have started looking at prices for local suppliers of metal

interested in 1/4" plating and also 2x2 square tubing .250 wall

went to a place yesterday and got a price for a piece of 20ft 2x2 .250 for ~4.50$ a foot.

wondering what you guy pay for 2x2 tubing.

wheres a great dealer for both metal and plating in the winston/greensboro area??

prices would help me also

Call Steel and Pipe Corp. in Sanford. Just now checked with them, street price for 2x2x1/4 is right about $75 with tax...that's about 3.75 a foot. Talk to Mark.

A couple of sticks is well worth the gas and trip.

How much plating do you need sizes. I always have some odd pieces here at the shop. I can get cheap. I will check on tubing pricing for you I might be able to get cheaper since we use so much steel here.

my cost for the 2x2x.250 tubing was $66.87 for a 20 ft piece. I am in Kernersville if you haven't found any.

In charlotte for small amounts check with foils out on hwy 49 in harrisburg. They have new steel and also have lots of scrap peices.
