I liked some of his music, maybe more. He was weird, but who isn't fucked up in their own special way.
How come all you redneck hillbilly beer drinking good ol boys didn't have a bad word to say about Merl Hagard? Did you know him personally or was it just because he sang about pick up trucks and beer?

Them there are fight'n words. Willie and Chris are all we have left. Merle weren't no saint I that's for sure. But he was definitely all true Redneck and said what was on his mind damn popular opinion.
Me personally, Prince was a very talented musician but his ego killed that talent.
I can relate to a humble working man. After all aren't the good times really over for good. I'm on this snowball headed for hell like everyone else.

Lot of haters in this thread. Prince was a little weird, but i never heard of him being an asshole. I like some of his music.

I like his music, in high school we warmed up to his tunes before a baseball game. Turns out the star pitcher was star struck. Must have not been all bad we got 2nd place in State 4A that year. Pitcher went on to fawk up a free ride at Chapel Hill, like most of the other guys on the team.
