I have been to numerous bouncer events put on by other series but this was my first Pro Rock / Pro UTV race at Windrock last weekend. All I can say is all these other series need to take some notes from these folks. I'm not talking about the $100k in prizes or the awesome sound and music they had playing or even the live feed TV they set up so you could tell what was going at the top of the hills...the camera man either kept having seizures or some other issue which caused him to keep video of everything but the actual vehicles.

I am talking about their ability to actually start on time. They said 10 a.m. and the first UTV shot up the hill at 10:02. These folks were very organized. I really liked how they raced UTV's between recovery efforts for Bouncers. I don't how many times I have went to another series race which was to start @ 10 a.m. and at 11:30 the first buggy hasn't cranked. I was so pissed off at Rush last year over Labor Day, I couldn't see straight. After about the 9th time of the announcer guy saying, "we're getting the first buggy out here in just a few minutes", I was ready to pack up my shit and ride the park instead of watching the race.

Props to you folks with Pro Rock / Pro UTV series.

That's pretty much why I no longer attend any events. There's nothing more irritating than the first guy up the hill breaking or rolling to the bottom then Randy, Cleetus and the rest of the one liner crew to drag him out and celebrate over a Milwaukee's Beast for an hour while the crowd sits waiting in the heat. I'm glad to see someones finally got their crap together.

I'm with @MarsFab on this one. Couldn't have said it better. Even some larger ride events have gotten pretty absurd. I don't like enough people to deal with Heehaw and his 19 dipshit friends in how-much-a-month RZR's in my free time. If I travel hours to an event, I either wanna see some action or do some riding. Not sit around all day.

Want to see organized? Go to a WERock event. It had been years since one way back at Jellico since I attended one. I happened to be in CA for work and caught the second day of the Donner event a few weeks ago and the communication between all the staff, drivers etc was impressive. I rolled in shortly after the website said they would start and there was already one person on each course with a line of people behind them. They just rotated through courses all day. Recovery was fast, course re-set for the Showdown you could tell was already thought out and when they said they would be wrapped up by 4, they meant it. Awards started shortly after that. My only gripe could be that there was so much going on I missed a few rollovers and awesome saves.

I'd rather miss a roll over then wait two hours on one
