Belt routed properly? Maybe the water pump turn backwards?

Water pump impellers worn. Just had the same thing happen to me on a xj. It was my first ever worn out water pump that did not leak. Go on and put in a good thermostat, it shocks me to see people put the cheapest parts on there rig. especially something that's part of the cooling system. The whole cooling system is only about $160 in parts. Go on and flush the heater core while your at it.

Put a factory(mopar) thermostat in it and flushed the heater core and my heat works now..not sure how long it will last though
