OK, so all of a sudden, none of my devices can pick up wifi in my house. I am using a Linksys WRT54G router...Now I understand that it is a fairly old router. I have tried to reset it, go back in to the settings and redo everything and nothing seems to work. I have researched on the web but nothing is working...I wonder if it has just crapped out on me....Any suggestions? I know that it has to be the router because My Samsung S3, Samsung G tab and iphone are not able to pick it up anymore....

Most likely time to replace it. If you bought it new, Linksys is pretty good about their warranty, but they will send you a refurb.
You can try a hard reset .... unplug it from everything, including power .... let it set for a full minute and then re-try it.

You can get another one from Wally World pretty cheap.
I would suggest Net Gear. None of my Linksys routers ever lasted more than 2 years.
So the last time I replaced it with a Net Gear and it can handled more units ( 132 at one time!), much much faster, and it was cheaper than the Linksys.

Agreed. My linksys didn't last long either & started to periodically drop signal. Same service, new Netgear & problem solved. I also did a lot of research & at the time that was typical for linksys. I'm sure they have fixed that problem by now. That was 2 years ago.

The linsys router that I had was like 5 years old....last a good while I would say....It was either the linksys or the D-link router....as long as it works for at least 1-2 years...Im good.
