My lil bro's dodge stopped running a lil bit ago, a decent amount of the signs are pointing to the injection pump, but figured I'd run it by yall just in case.

Driving along, truck randomly dies, won't run again since

cracked injectors for quick diagnostic - no fuel getting to injectors during cranking

Then checked fuel pressure at the back of the filter coming from the in tank lift pump, shows 10 psi when power is put to the pump, however when cranking the truck no pressure at all, let off the starter, 10 psi rebuilds, crank it again - no pressure

replaced lift pump, no improvements, however was able to get fuel to three of the injectors, truck still wont run

feel like it's the injection pump, but still curious why there is no pressure from the lift pump when cranking the truck

like I said pretty sure its the injection pump, but just throwing it out there just in case anyone has any other ideas since thats a really large amount of money

Place in greensboro will test it and rebuild if needed. I have a barring tool on the truck if you need one. That and a crows foot and its not that bad of a job....

hmmm pm Braxton357......

yeah sounds like an injection pump for sure!01s and 02s have that problem I have heard a few times.

If you had 0psi at the filter, you burned up the injection pump.

It's not that there's a problem specifically with the injection pump, but that the lift pump dies and takes out the injection pump due to lack of feed pressure.
