well starting of with whats left of a 1985 4runner bobbed.
plans are for

all toyota driveline. not sure on spec but will be posting them as i go. hitting up the yards next week and figured i would start the build thread.

anyways picked up the guts for the 4runner project but the build has changed a lil. im going to fix it the way i want it and run the yota cab for a while. then when its had all it can take ill have the 4runner painted and fix how i want it on the inside and ill just cut the bed off and fab up some mounts and put the 4runner on the allready built guts:wheel:

the to do list is as follows for this week of yard hunting
-whole PS setup
-IFS steering box and etc...

My buddy owns that jeep now and is in the process of getting it wheelable again. He is putting a 9" and HP D44 under it with 2" less lift than it had back in the day and 37" iroks. This is what it looks like now(it was painted like this before he got it)

that cherokee won't go anywhere without the wood on the side...might as well part it out...


...no way he can make the 4Runner as ugly as she used to be...no way...
 
He's got the $15 dollar advance auto shackles on it. Way to keep up the craftsmanship.
 
yeah i def. mis that XJ!!! had some good times with the woody!! that was back when i had time and money! haha!! hopefully another build like that one day..............
 
I miss seeing that XJ around. One of the first fullwidth cherokees i had ever seen and it was awesome. Too bad you sold that thing Linc.

4runner is back on track. new frame from donor truck is being pulled sat. rear axle got sanded, shaved a few mounts,etc.... and polished back up today. front is being pulled and started on tomorrow. i will have to shoot some pics asap to show progress lol. its hard to do when your trying to get stuff ready.
