Propane issues

I have a propane system on a 22r. It’s become hard to start. I’m having to use either to start and it’s still difficult and when I do get it to run it’s very rough. If I press the button on the regulator about half way it clears up and runs fine and cranks back fine but when released it starts running rough again! Any ideas on what it could be? Bad diaphragm? Bad regulator?

It’s been YEARS since I’ve dealt with propane stuff, but it sounds like that could be your issue. Rebuild kits are cheap for them and it’s easy to do.
