Can someone explain the different components in order from the tank to the engine for a propane setup? What each component does?

I'm sure there's not much to it.

I've yet to find an illustration or any explanation other than, it takes LP into a vapor and pumps it into the carb.
 
From Tank to engine..
Major Components are in Bold.
  • Tank and its valve - duh.
  • High pressure Line
  • Lockoff (Electric or Vacuum) which allows the lp to flow to the converter when the engine is running or trying to crank.
  • High Pressure Line
  • Converter - This is where the phase change from liquid to gas occurs. You run heater core lines through this device to keep it from freezing up.
  • Low pressure vapor hose
  • Mixer/Carb - This is where the gas and the air are mixed and how you adjust a few things like idle etc.
