ok, so I got a set of 12bolt wheels and the military 37 radial from a dude on the board. this is my 'street tire/wheel' setup and won't see any wheeling. so, is it worth my while to remove the rubber inserts and lose weight and lose the locking mechanism. I run air and can easily remount the tire, but I don't see that happening since they won't ever be aired down. if its a good idea to remove them, then what is the best method?

simple, use a cherry picker, lay the legs across the tire, hook to the insert, spray some w-d around the bead and get to pumping. you will have all 4 out in less than 10 min.

my opinion i would remove them cause the combo is heavy enough as it is, no reason to at to the weight if your just running them for the look

If you decide to air down, get the plastic pipe inserts without the runflat part.
