What are y'all using to design brackets and other stuff. There has to be something better than card board or nilla folddrs
And they come pre-oiled!Pizza boxes make excellent template material, and pretty decent gaskets at a wrenching party. I mean you gotta feed those guys anyaway. Why not kill 2 birds with one pizza?
Please share...PM if need be.
Progecad, almost identical to auto cad. 30 day free trial, just renew with different email if trial runs out.
If you have a student email you can get a year for free as well.
There are ways :cough cough: to get around the time expiration. If you are going down that road though, you could also obtain a pirate copy of sol-ed werks that works wonders.... En-s-eh is probably watching now.

Draftsight is another free one. I believe it is just regular free, NOT a 30 day trial. It is very smooth and fast launching compared to Autocad.

I don't know. I've used the 2d CAD from Solidworks/NX/ProE for so long that I hardly remember Autocad. I just know it took forever for our drawings to open in Autocad, and then it was super laggy once they loaded and opened (even if saved locally). Draftsight solved all of that.Commands and controls roughly the same?
You're welcome Just tell yourself you will save time actually doing the work.Downloading as we speak. Thanks for countless hours of trying to draw stuff up.
