PS pump problems

My brothers 03 2500 CTD keeps going through powesteering pumps about every 2 months. Can't find any cloggs or restrictions in the system. Anybody got any ideas? Replacing them under warranty is cheap, but tiresome. Truck has about 150k miles, 4x4 auto.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dang! I wish my warranty lasted 150k miles on my superduty!

X2 A vane pump like that is easily destroyed by contamination

Im thinking he bought one and is replacing it under the 1 year warranty ;)

x2 on the junk in the lines. Can't really think of much else, unless you get Dr.House the mechanic... Though heat COULD be an issue...
 
check the PS filter,see if its working,my friends 01 ctd has 1
