Traffic was backing up cause he had his lights on in the median. I pull over and hooked the winch up and pulled him out. He seemed pretty relieved he didn't have to wait on a tow truck.

Wish I had a better picture but I didn't wanna embarrass him any more. He took my name and number and said he would pass the word on that I helped, whatever that means.

I tried to help pull a cop out of the grass once and he said he couldnt let me, he had to wait on the tow truck.

Nice, I helped push a cop stuck in the snow out, about a year later he gave me a speeding ticket on the same stretch of road.
Way to go...I just got a speeding ticket from a cop with muddy tires. Thanks.

Exactly, so ironic, because the same cop would probably ticket you for helping another motorist in the same exact way he did.

Come on Scott, we have discussed this before. Remember the kville cop the night we were snow drifting, u wanted to go help him, we pleaded against it because he would surely ticket us later.

Good times.

I pulled a cop out of the median on Wilkinson BLvd in Charlotte a couple of hears ago. He thanked me and said he sure wasn't looking forward to having to tell his supervisor he got stuck. There were 5 other cops there laughing at him while I pulled him out.

where were you when these guys needed you.

Bwahahaha... I actually have several good ones from RPD on my computer. This one was also a good one:

Blocked traffic for a while.

I have pulled many cars out, and many of them have been police. Pulled them out of mud after they responded to a wreck on a median, pulled a few out of snow, and I pulled 3 or 4 out of flood waters a few years back when crabtree valley mall flooded. One nightshift, the entire city turned into a sheet of ice... Im talking SLICK! Made it interesting in a crown vic when we still have to respond to armed robberies and gunshot victims.

Let me preface this by saying that I respect cops and the job they do. Back in the day I made a slow, carefull, U turn in the median of I85 at like 1 oclock in the morning. No traffic at all coming in either direction. Leaving my girlfriend's house I had forgot to drop off a video in the drop box at Blockbuster and the next exit was way down the road.
I got pulled a mile or so up the road by a obviously well hidden cop. I figured once he saw I was sober he would let me go with a warning or something... OH HELL NO! He kept me on the side of the road for over 20 minutes while someone at the station looked up the propper wording for the charge.
I was ticketed for "Crossing the median of a National Defense Highway"! I thought the freakin' FBI was going to become involved in the whole deal. Cost me 100 bucks in teenage money.
Anywhoo... Long story short, the same Jerk cop flipped his cruiser in front of the Home Depot in Kannapolis one night. He ran out of talent behind the wheel and over shot a sharp curve. I just happened to be the first one there. After we got him out and stable, I couldnt help but remind him who I was and that karma is a bitch!:fuck-you:
