I had to drain some coolant to change a sensor on the toterhome and the coolant was purple...

IIRC, you have a 7.3 IDI NA, right?
I bought some at NAPA for mine... seems like it was "Fleet Charge" brand and had additional SCA. Purple as Princes underwear...

Ya its the 7.3 IDI... I didnt loose much and am still good for my URE trip this weekend. Just curious to what brand it might be.. It tests out ok and per the maintence log was changed 11/05 so id hate to waste what i got..

I believe there are several brands that are purple... FleetCharge and some of the High$$ extended stuff (CAT makes some that rated pretty highly).
