Putting a Detroit back together

Threaded rod and a couple of wingnuts and big washers.
 
ya thats the way to go i just looked at this morning and realized that was the way, now just awaiting my $150 dollar part form eaton that took me 3 weeks to find/get.
 
its a toy i broke about 3 inners and 4 birfs, don't know which time it actualy broke the detroit, b/c when it did the part that broke got wedged in the splines and made it like a spool so i just kept wheeling it but it was hard to steer.
