I have to put down a deposit to hold the truck until the auto loan comes through over the next couple days. If all goes well it should be mine before this time next week. Here it is!

It will need tires very soon unfortunately, but I guess thats just a good reason to look into a lift kit before then. I will probably remove the toolbox, as I would rather have the extra space and I dont need to haul around a bunch of tools day to day.

Let me give you one tip, if I may.
As long s you are making payments, keep it on the pavement.

x2, especially if that's your daily driver. Don't tear up something you have to depend to get to work or school, and certainly something that someone else "owns" (the bank).

My dad always said to pay cash for your toys. Then look at fuel, repairs, upgrades, etc as your "monthly payment".

Its not the daily driver. I drive a 2008 mazdaspeed3 on the road. This thing will be used to haul stuff when needed, and then drive off road. I dont plan on doing anything very hardcore (as far as off roading or upgrades) until its paid for. It is a very small loan.

Better...looked more like a DD kind of deal.

But...still have a loan on it.

Pay it off, then chop it up, back half it, tons... :D

Look into a revtek 2.5 leveling kit & some 285/75/16 mud terrain or all terrain. You can still have some fun and nut have to worry about breaking crap every time you wheel.
