Just watched the Led Zeppelin Documentary on Netflix and it ended with a spectacular quote by Jimmy Page. Thought I’d share it in hopes of creating a thread pf awesome and funny quotes going forward.

When I was younger I would go hunting with my uncle, who is about 6'7" and every bit of 400# chocowinity bred country boy. I would complain about it being cold and early in the morning and this is what he would say to me in a very stern manner

I could take over this thread.

I have a word doc on my desktop where I add ones that hit me. Its about 7 pages.

I'll throw in just a few to get the wheels spinning.

Hahaha. I’ve heard that one as “if it flies, floats or fucks you’re gonna have problems”. Lolol
 
I used to have an advisor that would say, "If we knew what we were doing it wouldn't be called research."

You missed one of my favorites: "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken."
 
I'd like to just post the entirety of If by Kipling but these lines really hit.

- If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you; But make allowance for their doubting too;
- If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same;
