Hey guys, Im about to do a very mild lift on my Cherokee(1.5-2"). I have everything but the add a leaf for the rear. My springs in the rear are sagging, as all Cherokees do. Will the AAL fix this and give me the lift or do I need to do something else.

Also if anyone has any AAL's they dont need and want to sell (cheap) let me know.

Thanks in advance
Rob

it is a cheap and easy way to get lift, but it will also stiffen the ride up, ie lose 'flex'. Not saying it's a bad thing, just a compromise, and it's kind of subjective what works best for you.

I ran them front and rear on my CJ for a while. They worked fine for me, not too stiff. But they did nothing for the fact that I started out with worn springs, and therefore I still had a good amount of axle wrap.

I have found the short and the long. I was looking at the long ones to keep the axle wrap down. This is a DD that I just want to give an updated look. I think we may take it on some "roads less traveled" this fall/winter. Ive had the pucks for the front for years. I can deal with a lil stiffness in the back b/c its honestly to soft now. Im running about a 29-30"(not sure its metric size) tire and just want to get it up off of them.

I've never used AAL's, any lifts I've ever done in the past were coil, complete packs, or SOA. Just curious as to how much lift to expect with the slight sag in the rear. I've found AAL from 1.5", 2", and 3.5". My pucks are 2" so I thought about getting the 3.5 to lift it and take out the sag, but Im afraid that may be to much.

When you add a leaf will you be dropping one of the existing leaves? The loss on one leaf and adding the 3.5" AAL may take the sag out and provide a small lift to match the 2" on the front.

Only way to find out if it works is to try and see what happens. For the cost it's probably worth the gamble in my book.

Thanks, Thats what I was thinking. Yeah they are the same price at many places. Just didnt wanna go overboard.
