Question for the Parents

Casey rode in my CJ all the time, mostly because it was my only means of transportation until she was 8. We really didn't take her on trails until she was 2-3, and only with neck support. Our biggest problem was keeping her from frying in the sun - no AC means no top in the summer. The summer she turned 5 we went to Moab and she rode in the back of a YJ through every trail we went on, although something about it made her go to sleep. She slept through more scenery when she was 5 than a lot of people see in a lifetime!

All good points here. But Doctors and past experience aside, I look at it like this. If you have to ask then there is a voice in the back of your mind asking 'is this safe?' If you have to ask, then you know its not. I have seen a guy in a buggy at URE with what looked to be a 3 y/o on his shoulder asleep while he is driving. Now he was just cruising the trials not doing anything diffuclt, but still, you have to worry about the other people out there.

I dont have any kids, but I wouldnt take my dog. If the kid is old enough to know what to do in case of a roll over, doesnt require a card seat or booster then it should be copasetic.
