Not sure best place for this, but I have a question about a jeep. A guy uo the road from me has a 99 jeep grand cherokee with 4.7l engine, he said it has a dropped valve and a small peck in the motor. But that it runs. The motor is a rebuilt with 70k miles. How much would it cost to get it fixed?

All the parts that were in play when the valve hit the piston would need to be inspected. So you are talking a fair amount of labor costs.
