Questions About Land Rover Discovery 2

We need a "beating a dead horse" smilie.

i have worked on these things and the electrical gremilins in these things do not make sense. Brake lights can work 8 out of 10 times then one side stops working get it right then the other side stops working. And the fact it has electrical everything it can leave someone stranded or locked out without warning.
 
I just got finish watching cars2. Even a kids movie notices that land rover have flaws. if you have not watched the movie. Watch it. :lol:
 
Saying this because I had a Rover guy bag on my stuff in person and online one time;

Nicest Rover I ever saw off road had a 5.7, Turbo 400, NP205, 14 bolt rear and 60 front - ooops, that's a chevy now!

Rover's are what rich parents buy there kids to drive to private school, Carolina and Duke.

That new one that one some award out of a "car" magazine - straight across copy of a Kia Soul!

Rich guys driving porsche's always have a rover at home it seems? Complete with huge rack, ladders, sand plates, big lights and those limb off cables - but always with little 29" tires on them. Sometimes they actually have a useful hi lift on them.

Only reason you see them in africa and austrailia pictures is they were prior British territories and they didn't have a choice. Seems like Toyota is the brand they count on there now from the pics I see. Lately it seems a .50 cal mounted in the bed of a 'yota truck.

I'm guessing a rover built 1975 and back would be all right, didn't have enough power to tear themselves up much less do 50 mph.
