Quick Axle Check: Am I looking At a 35 or a 44?

I just bent down and snapped this pic (was pretty dirty) and I can't tell from my picture if it's a dana 35 or 44. Its on a '97 TJ 4.0 (6 cyl) with a manual transmission and I thought those came with 44's. Anyway, thoughts on pic?

TJ's came out in 97, I dont think the D44 was offered until a few years later.

Some in 98 came with a 44.
Well, the build sheet explicitly said "dana 44"
the axle under the jeep in 03 when I inherited it from the ex wife was a 35 though.
