Ok here's the scenario with 4 folks playing

The games was 7 card no peek.
person 1 beats the laydown card with an ace and bets a quarter(everybody calls)
.person 2 turns a pair of 10's and bets a quarter

I had not turned a card yet..but for the hell of it
I raised the bet to a dollar even..
person 4 calls
person 1 folds
person 2 folds..(the one with the pair of 10's)

Here's the question..with person two folding(they had the highest hand thus far) am I still required to beat the 10's ....which were folded?

OR is the game now left up to me and person 4( neither of which have turned any cards yet?)

if the person folds their hand is void. So no..

Yeah, think about it in the context of a bluff -- you want the other guy to fold so that you don't have to beat his hand.

Like was said, if someone folds then their hand is out of play. You then have to beat the highest thing on the table. If a dollar made everyone fold I need to come play poker with y'all. When we play no peek a dollar is usually the minimum bet, and there's 7 of us playing!
