--> Quick Tellico Camping Question

Just a quick question. We're trailering the jeeps up in a few weeks and my cousin has a Tent that sits in the back of his truckbed.....

??Can we camp out of it if it's parked in one of the parking lots??

Basically we'd wheel, bring the jeeps back...camp in the truck, wheel, and repeat..

I cant find an answer and the ranger station was like "I dont know"...

??Also, can you primitive camp off the trails (besides the one that say no camping?)

EDIT: No campers, nothing like that... just a tent in the back of a truck...
 
Why not just camp at one of the camping spots off of Trail 1 just past Trail 5? Not wanting to take the tow rigs that far down Trail 1?

I thought all roadside camping was closed.. also I'd rather not take them that far but whatever we've got to do..

We may just park and primative camp somewhere in the forest...
