qwestion use of rock crusher hubs

I have a friend that wants to sale me his rock crusher drive flange hubs.I have notice that the company saleing them now offers a eliminator part/s ,I have built up a 1949 truck on a blazer frame I am runing all one ton parts turbo 400 doubler 205 detrot locker rear and detrot E-locker front.I need to replace the hubs but not sure of pros and cons to lock out hubs to rock crusher soilds,I use the truck for off road most the time but licence it so I can drive in to town for gas ,supplys or parts I wanting to know if any one has used them and whats there thoughts. the dana 60 is a 1978 dully converted to single hubs stock axiles new spicer joints but not sure what spline count on stock axles 1978 is, I was thinking of useing spicer premium new lock manu hubs but not sure of straingth I do use the truck hard .

Rock crusher hubs commonly called drive flanges are no good for a truck on the street. I reccomend trailer use only. It will kill your steering along with other things.

He's got an e-locker in the front. As long as your front driveline is good and balanced, I see no real issue other than increased wear on parts during the few times you run into town, only because those parts are turning.

My Rockwells have drive flanges, and I've driven it on a few trips "into town" and as far as a 60 mile trip with no issues related to the drive flanges, and mine has a detroit-style locker in the front, which behaves worse than the e-locker when unlocked.
