Lot's of race threads so this could be a fun year:driver:
EastTN4x4 dot com is proud to announce the Shull's Farm 4x4 racing season.

Race dates

April 18th

May 16th

June 20th

July 18th

Off in August because of My yearly Toy run

And a big weekend Sept 4th,5th, and 6th.

This will be on the same course as in Nov. We will be changing it some.

We will be adding tires and logs to the play area as well as spreading out the tires(we have more big ones).

We are looking at combining both 50' mud pits and making a 100' one out of them.

The season will run something like this(more details etc. will be finalized later)

There will be an overall winner announced in Sept. as well as overall winner in each class.

The classes will be 4cyl,6cyl and V8.

Each event will will have an Overall winner and Class winners.

We planned race dates around holidays and big events going on thru the year to hopefully give everyone 1 or 2 weeks between events to fix their junk.

Give some feedback folks..........let us know what you want.

jrraw23 we'd like to use the basic class rules you guys are running to keep everyone on the same field for safety and such,if that's ok.

its on homie, I'll be there for April, may probably gettin junk ready for the uwharrie race

Does anyone who was at the last race back in November have any ideas or comments about how we ran the race or did everyone like it the way it was. If we don't get any feedback we will just run it the same as last years race.

I think it worked out pretty good last time, everybody takes a few practice laps then racing starts.

Sounds good,

we were looking at doing a 2 lap race this time, some racers thought 3 laps was to long.........watcha think:popcorn:

I liked the three laps

3 laps was cool with me, more challenging to the driver and the vehicle

I would like to see 1 1/2 laps :flipoff2: Actually I think the three laps gives you time to make a mistake and then make up for it, I vote for three (depending on how many vehicles and the time frame needed) I just have to make sure I bring something that will make 3 laps this time

Three sounds great,I liked the 3 laps even tho' it was slow in 2wd:flipoff2:

has there been any more added to the logs, tire pile?not that they werent good last year.had a good time and will be back in the race this year, bringing something alittle smaller to compete in.

We will be adding to the logs (got some big ones on the way) and the tire pile will be expanded with more space between them(like folks said) and we are planning to add more big tires also.
Right now everything is still kinda frozen:lol: so we are at a stand still til' the end of them month.

I hope ya bring the buggy and somethin to race in everyone loved watchin you in your buggy play on the tires and log pile !
i sold the buggy, will be there with a smaller buggy,(toyota powered)still looking forward to the large tire pile/logs.wont be as easy to run over the tire pile with this buggy,so i guess we just have to hit it harder to get over the top. will be very interesting to say the least.can wait!!!!!

maybe this time I'll use NOS!:driver:

3 laps...that way I can make up for time that I lose when it gets smacked out of 4wd. My chiropractor says 5 laps would be better for him.

I would pay money to have my vehicle hosed off by the VFD before leaving. I still get tax notices from TN based on the amount of mud I took home.

:flipoff2:
That is a good idea tho' I'll ask around, maybe donations for a hosing off:lol::lol::lol::lol:

muddy mobiles

depending on how much the water costs are, it might make a good money maker VFD that is just up the road...it would kind of be like training...
