Racing for chairity - w/o dignity?

Adding in on the hype for the 4x4Cross, I'm offering up a chance to further eliminate what little dignity I have left.
I like using these things as a chance to gather some $$ for charitable organizations. One of my favorites in NOAH, for reasons I'll explain later.

So, here's the deal. I'm collecting "sponsorships (e.g., donations) for my run in the race, like folks often do for 5k runs, walk-a-thons, yadda yada.
The goal is simple - if I get $500 or more, I will wear a chicken suit, Spandex, Elvis costume, or something equaly demeaning for the race. Exact details of the outfit will be voted on later.

EDIT - next Friday (5/15) i will be taking votes for the outfit. Each $1 donation is worth 1 vote - so donate more, you get more votes!

Yep, that's right - between friends, family, enemies - everybody gets a chance for a pot shot at making sure I look like a fool on race day.

Keep in mind, not only am I driving myself, but also have the honor of riding w/ Dylan in the community-built EB. So he gets to take a dignity hit too - oh yeah he dosn't know yet, sssssh. :driver:

ANY amount works - $5, $10, $20, $300 - amongst many folks it adds up fast.

NOAH is a registered nonprofit charity, so that makes it tax deductable.
Note also, if you're a vendor - I'll gladly slap a sizeable sticker on my Runner w/ your contribution.
100% goes to them, I get nothin'... even my inevitable trophy $$ is going into the pot :wheel:.

I've been thinking about that.

Maybe what I'll do is take a vote, with each person's vote weighted according to sponsorship size. Hence the guy that throws in a Benji gets a bigger say.
In practicality that may be hard to figure out though.
either way - I'm open to ideas. I just wanna pull in some $$ for NOAH, and add a little "flair" to the event.
 
I think he need a good hooker outfit with tights, wig, etc.

Maybe pics of you wearing proposed costumes would motivate people?

do it similar to stocks, $1=1 vote


If I have the choice to choose or vote on your costume, I'm def. gonna give more $$$ :D
 
OK, so it's official.
Friday, 5/15 I will take a poll/vote from all whom have contributed - YOU get to vote on what I wil lwear.
Votes weighted accoridng to donation, $1 = 1 vote, $10 = 10 votes etc - so if you put in $100, you get 1/5th of the total voting power!

And remember, it's tax deductable...

Although, late May in NC, prob hot+humid = really nasty inside that suit.
 
Yes, I'm serious about this - come on folks, end in your donations. Remember if you want, I'll also paist on your vendor sticker.
Regarding Borat outfits - i'm up for anything, but if it's enough (too little) to get blocked by a 'net filter at work, prob not a good idea for the kiddies.
(besides I don't wnna put Dylan to shame w/ my man-junk floppin' around in his Bronco)
 
5 point harness will reign in the man junk...but yes, wear clothes please..lol

Let me also point out that this is only going to be MY bronco for less than a few min...I hope.
