:Rageface: Chrome is ticking me off. Help?

Ok, so on the "new tab" screen on Chrome there are 8 boxes that are web sites you frequent most. At least I assume that's what is supposed to be in them. For the longest time NC4x4 was in the first box, yahoo mail was in one, etc.

Now they seem to be random if not ever changing? I can't get NC4x4 to stay in a box at all, and my last three boxes are blank. Is there a way I can set them to what pages I want them to be and keep them that way, even if they aren't my most visited pages?
 
I use the star in the right hand of the search bar "favorites" Then my web pages are right under the search bar no matter what screen I am on. Never used the google boxes on the home page..

lol i was just searching for this the other day...apparently there is an x in the upper right corner of a box, if you hit the X that website is deleted nevermore to return to your frequents
 
@Ron Yeah I've x'd a few trying to get NC4x4 to show back up. Now I guess I've got it all screwed up. It keeps putting my banking websites up, and random google search results pages and other junk. I'm about to the point of seeing what happens when I uninstall and re-install it.

I guess I could utilize the favorites bar like JeffB, I'm just not a fan of multiple bars at the top of my screen, blocking my view of the interwebz.
 
X it, & it won't come back? I Was wondering why 1 or 2 sites won't come back? I'll try these suggestions. I do still have NC & Craig's List, but I've never X ed them. They Do rotate, according to others loading.

Hell nc4x4 is always open on my computer. Don't have to worry about opening or closing it. I have the pages I use a lot bookmarks at the top to open quicker.
