:mad: I noticed today that my air intake and my sway bar links have been taken off my jeep sometime. Someone had to take them they wouldnt have just fallen off. The jeep was parked at Lake Park Condos on Avent Ferry. Its a 99 Wrangler. If anyone hears of someone selling an AEM cold air intake or Skyjacker sway bar links for a 3-4" lift please let me know. The links are the ones with a pin at each end and are gold in color. :mad:

Also what can I do about this? Ive called the police and made a report with them. So what like they will ever find anything.

On a side note I now need an air intake. Anyone have a stock one I could get for cheap nearby?

Also will it be ok to drive for a little while with out the front sway bars in?
 
yea you are cool to drive without swaybars. i would be more concerned with the intake though, thats bad on the motor to run without an air filter for extended periods of time

Oh yeah I realize that. Im definately going to get a stock one to put on it right away. Put might be a little longer until I can get the links.
 
damn, my gf lives there. I'll make sure shes on the lookout for anything going on. It's very strange that they'd take your endlinks. I wouldn't think the average hoodlum would know what the heck they were for

Sucks about your luck. Maybe some other 'stuff' could have mysteriusly disappeared too and you could make an insurance claim.


I may have a stock airbox for you.
 
I've got some skyjacker QDC's I took off the wife's jeep. There yours if you want them.
 
Raleigh is bad with thefts. I'd read the Technician and every few days I'd see a bunch of breakins in the police blotter. That sucks about your stuff. I will keep my eyes open. :)

Well if I can get up with you that would be good but if not Im not as worried about them as the airbox. My number is in the first post if maybe you could call me when your there or I could call you either way. I will probably be there early. Got to go to work at 3.
