anybody going from Raleigh(ish) to Wilmington(ish) this Saturday afternoon?

Due to a complex arrangement of events, I could use a ride from the SE Raleigh area (Cary, Apex) this coming Sat and looking for a way to get to Southport in the afternoon.
Before renting a car, I figure I'd see if anybody was going that way; I'll share gas or whatever. Potential meet areas are Cary, Apex, or Clayton, and I can arrange my dropoff anywhere around Wilmington, southport, or nearby.

Thanks. That end is less of a problem, my wife or others could probably fetch me.

Just found out my brother has an old car in Clayton I can probably borrow. Downside is I'll have to take it back.
...unless you know anybody in the area that wants a '98 Stratus dirt cheap - horn and airbag don't work.

Shouldn't this be in "Hauling"?

:flipoff2:

So, did the Stratus make it ?

If it didn't, it wasn't because he didn't have any color matched duct tape.

I forgot the duct tape. It didn't match anyway. But the bungee held the bumper on fine.

Yep it made it. That thing us worn the fawk out, literally fally apart at 248,000 miles.

Please someone tell me you want it so I don't have to drive it back..

The better question is... Did you fools ever get that tree and power line cleared up, w/o any YouTube worthy injuries?

Naw, We were waiting for the "brains" of the operation to return...

sounds like I missed quite an adventure

Damn...I miss all the funshit. I should move to raleigh.

Actually after some changes next week I should be in Raleigh more frequently (like 4x a year) in the future

lets just say there is going to be a LOT more of that sort of shit in the near future, they're gonna be busy for quite awhile.

I got a formal tour about...3 weeks ago?
Awesome place. Definitely a ton of work.
Glad they have more energy than I

I wouldn't mind being around for clearing out that shed. That could be some good ole boy entertainment.
Shawn and I have differing opinions on the approach... Mine involves magic fluid and a match.

That guy was busy playing boy scout in the woods, sorry.

unfortunately my wife went back there today and found some shit she thinks she wants, and of course Shawns eye lit up with giddy excitement wanting to load up my truck, even offered the trailer to haul shit away.....
