I had to take the dogs to the vet so left work early to pick them up. On the way home I saw a chick dressed like a modern-day version of Xena, Warrior Princess... tall boots, short skirt, wide belt, odd colors. Work it, girl.

On the way to the vet I saw a lady about wreck her Suburban because she was brushing her hair with both hands (neither on the wheel) and then there was a dude dressed like :huggy:

Then I had to keep myself from losing it  because I looked in the back seat, where only 2/3 was available due to the 'small' side being folded down to make room for the canopy, to see one dog taking up all 2/3 and the other dog sitting ON her with his head out the window. :shaking:

I  d but I also need a

Tell me about it - as I was coming home from work, crossing the RR tracks coming off Hillsborough St. onto Beryl Rd., there were two people on the tracks. One was "arranging" herself onto the tracks, wearing a sun dress, legs asunder, and the other had a camera. The guy in front of me began crossing the center line, headed for the post office, neck twisted all around to look. Bastard distracted me... so that's about all I saw... while dodging him and a few other cars!

Leaving work today I almost hit a deer that was standing in the middle of the road. Not passing, or running. Just standing there. I was driving right into the sun, really bad glare, almost ran right into him. I came to a screeching halt, blared the horn... damn buck then just turned and looked me in the eyes, THEN started moving out of the way.

I think the bastards KNOW its Federal land and we can't touch them.

I agree there must be something in the air. I saw a bit of offroad rage/chicken where 2 lanes merge to 1...the guy in the Ford pickup wasnt gonna get muscled out by a puny VW, so he baja'd in the grass, ended up passing the VW and 3-4 cars ahead til he found an opening.
I got the fever when traffic came to a standstill, and my destination was in sight. Instead of stopping, I carried my momentum along the double yellow line for a couple hundred feet, dodged a sign pole and hopped the center dividing island.
But no Xena Warrior Princess with legs asunder...yet. The night is still young

There you are old buddy!!!! I hadn't seen nor heard from you in a while, and I was beginning to think the worst, but when Cydney said she seen that dude dressed like :huggy: I just knew you was OK.

Maybe it is just being downtown, but today is shaping up to be full of random insanity again...

Earlier, I walked to grab a sandwich for lunch... on the way back I pass an Excursion with windows cracked (down maybe 2") and back hatch open and realize what I thought was a bird squawking was a TINY BABY inside the car crying... I turn and walk back to check and, at that moment, the mom comes out of the adjacent building saying, "I'm right here." I'm sure I had a  look on my face...

I know how tough it can be to run errands with a little person along for the ride and maybe I'm overly paranoid about such things... but

On a lighter note, thanks to Don I have "Dude looks like a Lady" stuck in my head.

I'm going to need an address stat, please.

Lucky for him you couldn't see to try and dodge him, he would have been screwed.

I would have probably gotten in trouble in that situation.
