Maybe one of you smart fellers can figure out how to hack em and turn em back
Don't know about these new fangled meters. The old spinnie ones could be affected with a magnet. So I hear.

An electrician I know started out life working with the town electric Dept and he said they saw people use speaker magnets with moderate success back in the day.

He said he was working in a trailer park once and a dude came up and ask him if there was a trick he could do anything to slow his meter down. Mr Kenneth told him he would tell him one but the guy had to swear he wouldnt tell anyone else, the town would notice if too many bills went down. Dude obviously swore on his life so Mr Kenneth told him the trick was to put a brick on the meter box. Dude bought it hook line and sinker. The next time Mr Kenneth went back to the trailer park, every meter out there had a brick on it 😂

Anyone else notice how Anderson looks like one of them “island boys”?

Yep. I had a battery of the month card and would get my card punched and a free battery like clock work.
yep. Dad had a drawer full of them. He made sure everybody in my family had a card, we'd all go in seperately and get one. We'd get 9v just because they were the most expensive. The most volts for free!

I seem to recall there was some diference between the red and green cased ones

Yup, the green cased ones were equivalent to a heavy duty battery. They absolutely lasted longer than the free red ones. For the toys at xmas, we used red ones in the display units. for everything else we used the green ones.

Man don't hate too hard. I used flex seal today to seal up some old leaky patches on a van trailer roof. The stuff might be from an infomercial, but it's got a place!
Oh I have used the shit outa flex seal, and generally had good luck with it.
We had a spot in our shower where a hiddlen leak rotted out the floor, then the fiberglass pan cracked from the flex, making a small leake a yuuuge one.
I slapped some flex tape on that, and it held fine for 18 months until I gutted the bathroom.

We use it in the lab to seal 3d printed casings that are used to mold gelatenous materials. Works great as a sealant and a release agent.

I built the wooden turkey on the left in the first picture about 4-6 yrs ago. My wife wanted another one, so I built this new guy.

Just got back from the emu farm. Ground, steaks, pastrami, and 1 pack of duck bacon.

Gonna have my first bacon burger in 1.5 years tomorrow night!

The trick is always doing something right, have yet to figure that out.
You ain't lying!!! Same here. I can't even begin to list all the things I wish I could get good at in my life. I just pray I live long enough to give them all one hell of an attempt. I'll shock the f**k out of people.
