You can also replace the top link with a piece of chain. It will allow you to pick up the bush hog and still let it pivot up in the rear when needed.
I tried this last night on some of the worst hills on the property and it worked well! The added float works well for running over super heavy brush and I would say my number of hang ups was decreased.

Thanks again for the tip!

My little boy decided to throw his whole fishing rod in the lake today. It was off the dock in about 13 feet of water. He was all upset. I rigged up a treble hook with some weights to drag the bottom where I thought it was. One in a million shot. I snagged that joker in the last eyelet after about 10 cast.

Reminds me of the time my uncle lost his glasses in the river, so he tied a magnet to a rope and tried to find them. Of course, he then proceeded to lose the magnet . In a twist of luck only the Irish could fathom though, he tied a piece of metal to the rope, found the magnet, and then found his glasses.

40 some years ago by brother and friends were catfish fishing at a lake at night. He left his pole on a forked stick. He had to pee and a catfish pulled his rod in the lake. He was mad. 20 mins. Later I was reeling in my tackle to put another nightcrawler on when I had a pull and a good fish was on. I fought the fish for a few mins. Finally I got it to the shore and pulled up his rod and reel w my hook in his tip and he grabbed his pole and reeled in a 7 or 8# Channel Cat. I assume my hook caught his line and the hook was pulled to his tip .Good times I remember.

Years ago Tonya lost a pair of Oakleys in the Ocean at Myrtle beach.A wave or two later she felt something around her ankle and it was the Oakley's.

Another day's worth of productivity lost to something I found on Marketplace.

Well at Myrtle Beach there's a 50/50 chance they were someone else's haha. Seriously though that is pretty lucky.
