@Jody Treadway most people just paint the cars… you left your prized possessions behind

Man I want a motorcycle so bad … I’m too big of a wuss to get one, especially with kids and what not.
Just do it. I've had a rebel 250 for a while. This shadow is nearly identical to the one my old man had that he used to ride us around on. I do t intend on doing a lot of highway riding honestly. But I'm 20 minutes from the blue ridge parkway. I've got 3 littles, wife isn't thrilled but I've been saying I'd buy one for over a decade now.

I bought my first 2 or 3 years ago. I also increased my life insurance policy when I did! 😁💰
Took the MSF course first. My wife always told me not to, but I finally did anyway.
Definitely have to look out for the crazies on the road. I ride a GS, so I prefer to hit the dirt forest service roads in the mountains. Still have to look out for some crazy overlanders though. One nice thing about the GS on the road is that it sits up high, so it’s easier to see and be seen.

Yea, my life insurance is up to date lol. I'm definitely gonna take a msf course this spring. This one is nearly identical to the one my old man had and is honestly what I picture when I think of a motorcycle.

Get some training and just ride man. Stay off main highways for a good while. AND KEEP YOUR HEAD ON A SWIVEL!!! Always expect the worst from fellow drivers. At this rate, a rogue plane is more likely to take you out... o_O

Yep. Handling the bike isn't the hard part, it's handling the idiots.
