XJ wins on aerodynamics!

Length is dang near identical!

I think the JKU is stock height, but has 33's, XJ is on 2.5" lift and 31's, so pretty close if you ignore the racks.

Way more ground clearance on the XJ!

JKU wins in approach and departure angles, XJ wins in ground clearance and breakover angle. XJ wins overall because it is still driveable and doesn't have a hole in the block  :(

Other than that rack?

Hole in block. 07 JKU. Make an offer and they might take it. 200-225k miles I believe.
Sounds like a good candidate for someone to buy and take to Fuller for an LS1 swap.

today at Huntington Beach State Park; an osprey in a tree with a fish. We think it was calling its mate to come eat.

There’s a huge Osprey nest on a power pole in a kinda remote part of our plant along the river. It’s been there for years and in use every year. Sometimes we drive down and park to watch them feed the babies. A few months ago me and my buddy were driving down close by there to a job and one swooped down right over the hood of our truck with a fish in its mouth. Pretty amazing to see.

Spent the weekend at Hyco Lake and the AMA MotoAmerica Superbike races at VIR last weekend. No wives, just me and 2 friends and our kids and my dad.

Kids probably had more fun after the race.
