actually,he is blending into his surroundings good but his form and esp. the barrel of his rifle is too defined.Sniper vs sniper might find him toast.Too many straight lines.

his riffle barrel and scope profile are a dead give away. cool pick though.

same reason as the barrel, a hard edged line without organic shape. Outlined by a highly defined shadow. Sniper/Counter Sniper schools teach disciplines on these principles. I've only researched and read extensively on the subject (wish I had the chance to exercise snipping in real life). Most likely a posed shot anyway. His riffle position is way to exposed and experienced operators choose locations that do not silhouette the equipment. His camo is also more suited to a shaded area instead of the exposed portion he's set up in. Also glassing an area that much in the open could result in reflective flashes from the optics, should the suns angle be right. Judging from the shadows and the light conditions he's facing the sun making that highly probable.
 
Offutt AFB near Omaha NE. A farmer does something like this each year. Pretty cool, this is what the AF pilots see when coming in.

I knew where you were before I read the sign on the building....a buddy sent me almost the exact same pic 3 days ago, 'cept his was a blue dodge, and he was standing next too it. Same building/fence. Small world.
