That bronco is bad ass.

That’s Erik of Maxlider. Told me he dumped $125k and 4000 man hours in it. I’m not seeing $125k, but that shop always does top notch work. Said with Ford bringing the Bronco back, he wanted to present a representation of what the people want.

I know they have way more knowledge than I, but I cant see how alot of those fins help aero. Also with as little travel it looks like they have, they would almost be better off making it rigid with spring rubbers at the wheel for "travel" & cushion.

It's the master pro 44" from home depot. They were lime 299.99 but the big ones didn't sell well so they had a sale for 149. I just added nomex fire seal around the doors to hold smoke better, put wind baffles in at the vents so I don't lose heat and fabbed up a bigger stainless chip box.

This round was 180 wings 2 slabs of pork ribs and 2 slabs of beef ribs. But I've done a 15lb turkey, salmon and smoked some prime rib as well. All have been great so far with a little guidance from a buddy of mine that does it for a living.

We're going to do jerky and bacon next weekend so ill let you know how that goes.

The Masterbuilt I have is elec, but it is well worth the $$, esp when you get them on sale like that. The best way I have found to do jerky, is smoke the meat for a few hours to get the flavor, and then finish off in the dehydrator. I am always looking for better ways to do it completely in the smoker, so please report back on what does/doesnt work.

Finally figured out what that weird little cup holder is for in the new Explorers.

I hope you can take it out to clean it after those melt in the summer...

My wife's Pathfinder has some really nasty cupholders with permanent chocolate/candy goo stuck in them

It's neat, but I just don't see it as "what the people want." IMO people love the EBs b/c of their short wheelbase and very simple utility-like feel. A long 4dr thing just doesn't do that.

I don't disagree...but I think he was going for the modern market. You know, gone are the days of the minivan, but every truck is like a living room with a transfer case kind of deal.
