Random pic thread.

Working on granny and paw paws old house.....couple new 6x6 post, 8 floor joist, and some 4 ft LEDs. If it would have been like this when me and @jcramsey were little we probably would have stayed under it.....but its was straight dungeon vibes for the last 44 years.

Sure wish I could get that. Wonder what it would cost.
Seeing that large cabinet behind it I bet it is full of electronics and probably 480 volts. It was a good lathe back in the day, but there are better options in this day and age.

They don't have service ports, so they would have to add them and then hope to find a fixable leak. I figure by the time I pay someone to come do all that, and the possibility of them finding a leak that's not repairable, I can just replace them. I may be wrong idk🤷‍♂️. We live in our camper full time, so they definitely get used a lot more than a standard rv unit.
Wouldn't be an issue if you built a house

I've got one just like it with all the collets sitting in a connex box if anyone is looking for a nice hardinge
I might be interested depending on price. I'm currently poor as hell. But my son and I have discussed getting him some equipment and him doing some work on the side out side of the ATV work he currently does.

Service to the hose was put on a corner supported by only nails, looked up the other day and saw a 1 inch gap formed. Pulled it together with a piece of 1x and some clamps and installed some brackets till I come up with a better solution

It would stay like that until the end of time at my house 😅. I might would get ambitious in a year or so and shoot some rattle can white rustoleum on it for a more "finished look"

Did some more cleaning out at the neighbors house this weekend.

First time anyone had been to the back of this building in over a decade.

This one was much more clean and dry, but unfortunately still had a lot of mold and mildew so anything porous is junk.

Did at least find something of value in all of it:

Ended up with a truckload of scrap, mostly junk steel, but that wire should make it worth it!
