It's bewildering how terrible and disrespectful kids are these days. My son (9) was telling us last night about a kid in his class who got sent out of class yesterday, and its not that kids first time showing his tail in class. We get compliments all the time for how well behaved our boys are and how well mannered they are. Folks are like, i dont know how yall get them to be so smart. It takes them back when we say we expect it and if they dont they get their tails tore up.

Had this conversation with my wife recently. "Why do the kids do what you tell them to most of the time?". "Cause if they don't, it hurts. Same reason they don't backtalk me...."

You know your welder is legit when he shows up 2 hrs late wearing flamingo shorts and brings nothing but gloves helmet and an almost empty argon tank. Using my Chinese welder.

I finally made it back in the woods at my parents to clean up the mess I started. Funny, I had cleared all the brush on the ground under this dead pine tree.

It decided the area didn't need to be cleared out anyway, lol. The top and all those vines fell at some point. They are gonna stay til winter.

Then a cool sight. A Peleated Woodpecker flew up to the large hole at the top. I've seen them in the woods down here while deer hunting. Next, the female poked it's head out of the hole and flew off. That was awesome.

And this little guy needs to buy a lottery ticket. I was cutting some small tree stumps lower that my son left the last time we were out. I was just cutting thru the grass and all. Turns out this box turtle was in there. I ran the saw right under him, barely scratching his belly. I had no idea til I pulled everything away after the cut. I talked to a rehabber and they said he'd be OK.

New shoes ready for the season. Now to swap the air shocks for coilovers in the rear and build the 1410 driveshaft kit.

Made some chips this weekend. Three separate piles.

The one @Blake_JK is standing on is probably as much or more than the previous pics of our little ton dump truck loads.

Anybody need some chips?

This has been a chore. My FIL passed away and I've been trying to help my MIL clear out his collections. Lots and lots of knives, bayonets, and other stabby stab things. Cool stuff, but I just can't keep it all.
