Yes, but not for me. My accountant likes cash and barter. “Free” log loading in exchange for doing my taxes and then he will pay me to mill the lumber and help run the mill and stack it (on his trailer).

You really should talk to tree guys in your area. Getting rid of wood is often a challenge for them, especially hardwood trunks.

Yea I have reached out to one guy I know. Trying to get this pecan milled up and sold and some things built. Just been really busy lately.

Had her out for her first full, multi stop trip to town. Had to give her a bath first. The garage dust was horrible. Wound up adding 2* more initial timing (10* initial) 34* all in. She is a real little ripper for an air cooled VW.

Nice Mother's Day picnic at Ramsey Creek Park on Lake Norman today

Then my wife decided she had bigger balls than me and picked up this black racer in our yard!

Cutting grass ended up with a bent piece on the mower deck so had to jack it up in a professional fashion and fix it with a hammer and an adjustable wrench

Then wrapped up the day with a visit to @Paul and the ol yeller TJ, and bought diesel for $4.94 on the way home. I have never been so excited for $5 diesel

It was $5.14 in Kangs Mountain and since I let them track me via phone number I saved another 20 cents. If I filled up in Stanley it would have been $5.69. Put 27 gallons in. That saved $20. Solid.
