Maybe I'm dumb or optimistic but that thing looks pretty analog to me, don't see a clock.
Its seems pretty logical for a tight space kitchen

The joke is 50Hz European power versus North American 60Hz. Analog things from there would run faster here. The reverse is true for taking analog synchronous clocks from here and trying to use them in Europe. Aside from that pesky voltage difference of course...

That said my night stand alarm clock always loses time, probably a minutes or two every few months. Since day one 2-1/2 decades ago. We have another clock in the house gains a couple minutes every few months. I thought the whole point of using a crystal oscillator powered by DC was that it would be relatively reliable/constant but apparently not.

Our power blinks often enough I have no idea if any of my appliance clocks gain or lose time 🤣

Quoted for truth. While I have very few outages at home in the last half decade the frequency of power quality issues has exploded exponentially. LED lighting does not help with that perception either since it has no ride through capability. At least with the old incandescent bulbs the filament stayed white hot for half a second...
 
Stopped by a park with a boat launch today. Nothing more Florida than gators and law enforcement on airboats.

Also saw this. A fishing rod tied to the dock with no one around fishing. Then I saw a note tied to it.
