That was at lunchtime, had it raised about 24"....but yea it took a pile to get it done.

We had 6 hydrauilic jacks going at the same time setup in the cribs. Lift it 6"-8" at a time, set the blocks,reset the jacks. Repeat all day. I doubt there was any latereral movement....if there was it minimal. Block man should be able to plumb down from the corners and keep it close.

Its funny you mentioned Amish, he actually owns an Amish furniture store. I asked him if he was bringing any of his vendors down to help us

Sure there was lateral movement. Unless all of the cribbing and jacks were perfectly square, which you know they weren't. And yeah, it could be close enough. I'd be curious to see how close it really stayed.

It sure within hillbilly standards for a roof raise +/- 2" 😅 ......now im curious.
