the grill was a rough cooler. My friend likes to restore old vending stuff. he hatched the plan and all the paint work. I got to do a plate to make the grill mount up clean. The back had several louvers I punched to let the heat escape and the side box was all stainless and is still refrigerated for either meats veggies and ofcourse beverages. Nathan does great paint work when he puts his best effort forward.

that was the start of a big mess of stuff. I didn't snapp any other pics with my phone at AREVS. I know one of the office laddies made some. I'll try to find them, they would make explaining the complexity of what that department got alot easier.

This was the finished product. The bumper and frame work was made out of 10 inch 25lb per foot channel!

that "damn reel" was plummed all the way from the rear of the truck. It routed across the entire body through the top above every roll up door then down through the body walls back into the truck frame up through all the related and out to the reel. It just met the maximum doable lenght for the output of the pump do to parasitic loss of fluid flow along the system.

thanks for the compliments. Its not often anybody outside of the departments gets to see what the ARVS crew gets done. I tell people what I do and I don't think some people grasp it. I think tha average public thinks the stuff comes in big crates from overseas and it gets the some assymbly required routine.

The Firetruck work is an entirely seperate Identity from Warriorwelding. Warriorwelding is mine and my partners private venture. IF you wanna come by AREVS great, just make sure its Fire and Rescue related. A visit by our shop for Warriorwelding business is by appointment. My days at AREVS are numbered Good Lord willing. I just thought I'd share some of the same ol same ol I've been doing for AREVS.
 
I am in fire dept so a tour would b just for my jollys. I'll have to check it out some time.
 
cool. ask for Bill to show u around. He's the eldest of the owners and plainly put the one most willing to exibit people skills. although he will fill your ears full.
 
I know what ya mean whit the crate from over seas comment. I get the same reaction when I am at work.

Vt leeboy. 16 years of welding, designing, hydraulics, pneumatic, electronic, purchasing parts and now quality control of building Asphalt Pavers, rollers, Motor graders, road brooms- belly & front mount heavy duty enough to sweep millings, concrete curbing machine and about 30 other machines in hundreds of different configurations.


If it has to do with building or maintaining the roads & highways, I've probably had a hand on every machine that came out of our plant.

I'm an old carny too. My avatar is this to dazzle you with deception & baffle you with bullshit.
