I bumped my wrist into the wire brush that was WAO on my grinder and it gave me a rather painful rash. It's still hurting after 2 days. Whats the best stuff to put on it? What was I thinking, I got sloppy.

Rub it with 90 wt gear oil....it will soothe the pain and the aroma will make you sleep better and help make new friends!!

:D

They have skin covering aids at Walmart, etc. (I HEAR superglue was a by-product of that research). Look for new skin, etc. BUT since it has been a few days, and no improvement on its own, an MD would be a better choice than us...

Hey, the best is straight up rubbing alcohol. It may burn a little, but at least you know it is getting clean. ;)

I did the same thing bout a year ago, except mine damn near hit the bone (plastic handle broke off the grinder). I found that burn relief stuff worked the best, that and some neosporin and you cant even see a scar now.

You know I was thinking of patenting a signature cologne. Thinking of calling it burnt 80 90

But make sure it's used and has some water in it so you get that lovely "baby-shit brown" tint to it. :D

I always use triple antibiotic or neosporin (same schit), and keep it covered.

H202 works wonders, (peroxide) it burns like hell but it will get clean and it will heal faster.

Once the wound is clean, neosporin or polysporin (some people are allergic to something in neosporin) are the best thing to protect the skin as it heals. If you're still working in the shop and need better protection, I hear the Nu skin is pretty good, but have no experience with it.
