Jack your front end up, put a mark or thumb tack in the middle of each tire, measure the distance from mark to mark in the front...then spin the tires around and measure mark to mark in the back. Find out how much toe in you have first. Should be around 1/8" with those tires.

that sounds and looks like what happens when you put longer springs on a 80-96 f-150. never seen it happen to a solid axle truck.

thanks braxton i did what you said and i adjusted my steering arm until i had equal lenths on front and rear of tires. it worked great now my tires are level and will stop wearing on the outside. appriciate it have a good one later..........

How did you shim it?
Isnt that a SFA truck?

If you adjust them with about 1/8" toe in where the front of the tires are 1/8" closer together than the rear, you'll have less wandering on the hwy and it will actually return to center.
I think the shims you are referring to are degree'd radius arm bushings, but they shouldn't really be needed for a 2.5" lift. Only way to adjust camber is with offset balljoint sleeves but that shouldn't ever be needed...

:edit: The 76-79 f150's had dumbassed inverted Y steering, so whenever you lift it, you're going to have the tires pointing in.
