re-installing yota axle shaft

im having trouble re-installing the drivers side (long side) axle shaft on my toyota. it was hard to get out, and now it wont go back in. any tips that will help me out?

Try turning your pinion a little while you push.

is the birf connected, if so if bell is flared you may have to tap in w/ a hammer if just the shaft check splines to see if they are twisted.

could be a bent housing...i know mines a pain and the seals leak for a reason.

thanks, i got it in a couple of days ago. i took it out to look at the splines and when i put it back in it just slid in so easy. dont know why it wouldnt go in at first.
