Re-using factory brackets

Just wondering what your thoughts were on re-using factory brackets for link type suspension. Not cutting them off and re welding to something else etc. I have a 97 F-250 and would like to build a radius arm set-up using the factory leaf spring hangers as the rear mounts and perhaps but less likely beefing up the shock towers to use as the coil towers. I know Just building one from scratch would be the ideal recommendation but I'd like to keep the ability to return it to stock. This will put my lower half of the arm at 26-27 inches maybe 29 as I'd like to push the front axle forward a bit.

37" tires using no lift, I'd like the front to match the rear height giving me about 6 inches of up travel and then how-ever much down travel (based on size of the shock/mounting system I use) Rear suspension I want to do a shackle flip and remove the rear block and maybe a leaf from the pack as well as cut the overload spring down to a zero rate.

Perhaps add some gusseting in between and around the body mount and the two triangulated pieces that come down an extend outward from the frame.
I know its not going to be the greatest off-roader on the planet, but would like the suspension to at least articulate more than the frame. I figure radius arms and coil-overs would provide good on and off road characteristics and maybe if I need a little more articulation off road I can remove one of my top radius arm links to make a ghetto 3 link type deal.

I'll probably just get a quote from someone local to build up some shock hoops and weld them and just un-bolt the factory tower.
